Este Manual de Derecho Local contiene una exposición del ordenamiento español de las corporaciones locales, hecha con la pretensión de hacer llegar a los más lo que, por su complicación, parece destinado a los menos. Se abordan así los grandes temas del régimen local sacrificando a la claridad expositiva otros valores de la producción bibliográfica pues son los estudiantes, los funcionarios o aspirantes a funcionarios de las Administraciones locales las personas en las que el autor ha pensado a la hora de la redacción de este libro. Esta novena edición incorpora las novedades legislativas más relevantes así como la legislación de las Comunidades Autónomas y una selección de las sentencias tanto del Tribunal Supremo como de los Tribunales Superiores de Justicia.
